Image Compressor & Resizer

How to compress image to 20KB?

Upload your image to our main compressor tool, enter '20' in the Target KB field, and click Convert. Our algorithm automatically adjusts quality to achieve the exact file size while maintaining the best possible quality. The same process works for 50KB, 100KB, or any target size.

How to resize image in centimeters?

Use our main image resizer. Select 'cm' from the unit dropdown, enter your desired dimensions in centimeters, and the tool automatically calculates the required pixels at 300 DPI for print quality. You can also use mm, inches, or pixels.

What is DPI and why is it important?

DPI (Dots Per Inch) determines print quality. Screen images are 72 DPI, but printed photos require 300 DPI for sharp results. Our tools maintain 300 DPI minimum when you work in cm or mm, ensuring your photos look great when printed for exams, passports, or visas.

How to maintain aspect ratio?

Check the "Maintain Aspect Ratio" box below the width/height inputs. When enabled, changing one dimension automatically adjusts the other to keep your image proportions correct, preventing stretching or distortion.

Technical Issues

Why is my image not uploading?

Common reasons:

  • File format not supported (use JPG, PNG, or WEBP)
  • File too large (try under 20MB)
  • Browser compatibility (update to latest Chrome, Firefox, or Edge)
If problems persist, try a different browser or contact us.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes! All ImResizer tools are fully responsive and work on smartphones and tablets. You can draw signatures with your finger, upload photos from your gallery, and download files directly to your device.

What is the maximum file size?

While there's no hard limit, very large files (over 50MB) may process slowly depending on your device's memory and processing power. For best performance, keep files under 20MB. If you need to process larger files, try reducing resolution first.
